Canada Asia Pacific Business Association Hosts Dinner Gala for Over a Hundred Seniors
December 11, 2010

(RICHMOND, BC) – The Canada Asia Pacific Business Association and over a hundred seniors spent a glittering evening filled with wonderful food and entertainment to celebrate this holiday season at the Steveston Community Centre in Richmond.

Lead by renowned chef Mr. Mike Nakano and over 50 youths from the Association’s Apprentice Entrepreneur Team, the evening was filled with joyous laughs and good company throughout. Youths from the Association took advantage of this opportunity to interact and learn from senior members of the community, showing them their deep appreciation for their contribution and dedication to our communities. This event also served as an excellent chance for them to understand the importance of participating and giving back to their communities.

Canada Asia Pacific Business Association was founded in 1994 and established The Prime Club last year specifically for seniors. The Prime Time club organizes events and activities to help seniors active in our community. This year the Prime Time Club awarded its Member of the Year award to Ms. Chun Yun-Fong Cheng. Ms. Cheng is 93 years old but she continues to have the hearts and mind of a youth, spreading her happiness, determination, and commitment to those around her. Our Youths were amazed by the incredible energy of Ms. Cheng and said Ms. Cheng is an excellent example for us to follow.

This is CAPBA’s forth Senior Appreciations Dinner. With the support of many local community leaders and dignitaries in attendance, the evening made this holiday season especially memorable.

Whether it is promoting business opportunities or giving back to our communities, Canada Asia Pacific Business Association continues to demonstrate our passion and commitment.
